One of my favorite places to visit when I lived in El Paso was Santa Fe, NM, of course because of the hundreds of art galleries! But just as important are the adobe buildings, with the iconic, and so much fun to paint, blue doors and trim. I feel very close to God in those simple but spiritual village churches. And to paint those beautiful earthtones and textures of the adobe is heavenly!
